EXERCISE 2 : IDEATION (0139098 ZACHARY CHIENG HENG)

Personal Reflection :

Coming up with something creative and innovative has proven a challenge. But after a while, I decided to follow a "Eat your food! Or else..." concept. Of course, the concept itself relates to the NGO selected, which is The Lost Food Project whom which aims to reduce food wastage in Malaysia. After a bit of self debating,  I decided to take two approaches with my products here. The first is the "threatening" approach (not really), where we sell little key chains with something adorably scary and recognisable as the model.  This resulted in the creation of the "Mimegg" which is based off mimics in fantasy. The punchline here is that not eating your eggs will cause the egg to turn into something terrifying. And of course, it has to be eye catching.

The second is the more "tame" approach, where by simply selling something cheap, delicious and approachable, it encourages less food wastage. Shaker fries are a good approach to this, as fries are very unlikely to be wasted as it is more or less sharable with friends as well as being finger food, it could be eaten just about anywhere (as long as hands are washed).
