Group Ideation discussion
- What were the top 3/4/5 ideas chosen?
Our group began with an elimination and screening process. We analyzed each individual's concept to understand the strengths and weaknesses of every idea. After thoroughly reviewing all the proposals, we selected the top four concepts:
- Bean Kind
- La Cuisine Sauvee
- Buzz Bites
- Kindness DeliversDiscussion Process
Each group member was given the opportunity to defend their concept, presenting its strengths and relevance. This open discussion helped ensure every idea was fairly considered and
evaluated.
- Decision-making process
As a group, we set specific decision-making criteria and made our final choices through a voting process in which each member had an equal say.During the decision process, we also considered the viability of implementation and individuality for each proposed product and booth design. The selected product needed to be realistically implementable given our current restrictions, including budget, logistics, timeframe, and practicality.Additionally, the booth concept and product had to align with our mission statement and NGO values, while also remaining distinct from our competitors in terms of presentation and impact.
- Final Decisions (Concept & Products)
We then proceeded to choose our final concept and product. After multiple rounds of discussion and evaluation, we chose Bean Kind as our final concept. This concept was further developed into two distinct product proposals:
BeanKind Brew – a ready-to-drink plant-based beverage.
KindKut – a layered dessert inspired by local kuih and plant-based ingredients.
These decisions were guided by alignment with our mission, creative differentiation, and feasibility of production. Bean Kind stood out among the other shortlisted ideas because of its flexibility in concept development, visual identity, and product-market fit. It also provided enough creative space to design a unique and engaging booth experience while staying true to our values of sustainability, kindness, and food rescue.
