Agenda:
- Creative plan proposal and presentation
(i) Status of preparation: After our discussion, the team has made some adjustments to the organizational structure — Adam has been appointed as the new leader, and Jame will serve as the co-leader. We’ve also finalized the booth design and allocated a budget for it. The prices for both the Cheesekut and drinks have also been confirmed. Additionally, our treasurer has begun working on the budget allocation and is currently updating the budgeting list, while our secretary is preparing a donation request letter to be sent to potential donors.
(ii) Prototype plan & status: Our group is currently in the process of discussing and planning the prototype. We expect to finalize everything within the next few days. We will also begin working on our short video clip soon.
Status of draft : Our secretary is currently preparing the draft for the donation request letter, which will include all the necessary details. This is to ensure that potential donors feel assured about our plans and are encouraged to contribute financially to support the success of our event.
Individual Report:Angelina Elisha
Role assigned: Secretary
Progress based on my role & responsibility :
I am in the process of drafting the donation request letter and have chosen to use the sample proposal provided by Ms. Steph as a reference. It offers a clear framework and helps me better understand how to structure and present the content effectively. I will include any additional information as needed to ensure the letter is comprehensive and persuasive. I’m also working together with my teammates by collaborate with our treasurer to develop a detailed budget plan and allocation, which will be incorporated into the letter. Furthermore, I plan to seek input and guidance from other members to ensure the final version is well-crafted and complete.

Role assigned: Visual & Marketing
Progress based on my role & responsibility: As part of the Visual and Marketing Team for the BeanKind pop-up booth, my role is to create an engaging and cohesive visual identity that reflects our mission of reducing food waste and supporting TLFP. I am responsible for designing the booth layout, logo, poster, menu and social media content to attract attention and communicate our message clearly. My tasks include crafting promotional materials that highlight the unique selling points of our products BeanKind brew drink and Kindkut Cheesekut.
Besides, developing creative calls-to-action like "Small Beans, Big Change!” to engage the UOW Malaysia students and staff. By combining meaningful design with strategic marketing, I aim to drive awareness, encourage participation and support a social cause through effective storytelling and visual appeal.

Progress based on my role & responsibility :
This week, I worked with my teammate to decide how to contact The Lost Food Project (TLFP), and we chose to use email. The message was sent, and we’re now waiting for a response. I will share any updates with the group once we receive a reply. I also plan to check more of TLFP’s recent activities to make sure our project stays aligned with their mission. Additionally, we confirmed that all donations will be sent using Shreesha’s Touch & Go account.

Progress based on my role & responsibility :
For this week, I have been tasked with scouting the prices of our raw materials at my local grocery stores to make budgeting more accurate. Aside from that, I am responsible of creating the second product's prototype (Mung Bean Drink) as well as storing it for sampling on Monday. I will share this with my group members on Monday.
Adam Arief Bin Hanizam (0139293)
Role Assigned: Leader
Progress based on my role & responsibility:
Since being appointed as the group leader, I’ve managed to secure a private sponsor to support our event. In addition to sponsorship, I have taken on the responsibility of developing a project timeline to guide our group through the planning and execution stages. This timeline will outline key deadlines, deliverables, and checkpoints to keep us on track.
Moving forward, I will also be monitoring and determining our group’s weekly goals and agendas to ensure consistent progress and accountability. These weekly targets will help maintain focus, improve collaboration, and allow us to adapt efficiently to any changes or challenges.
Lee Yau Zu (0138730)
Role Assigned: Marketing & Promoting team
Progress based on my role & responsibility:
Being a member of the Marketing & Promoting Team, my partner and I helped with designing the layout of the booth, the logo, poster, menu, and social media content to capture attention and convey our message effectively. And also budgeting everything in our budget range, like choosing the cheaper material, and we will DIY most things on our booth to lower our cost.
I am still thinking about what promotion we can do to let our target audience willing to buy our product, like buy more cheaper or buy a certain amount and get free or something else.
